Priyanka Chopra's Grammy moments

Actor Priyanka Chopra, who recently announced that she was in the process of releasing an international music album, was thrilled when she was invited to be a part of the very prestigious Grammy Awards in Los Angeles this year. To be attending the awards function is a huge honour for Priyanka, who spent a considerable amount of time in LA last year recording her album.

While it has been a whirlwind week for Priyanka, who has been shooting back-to-back and then attending the Berlin premiere of Don 2, the actor was extremely upbeat about brushing shoulders with the biggest names in the music industry. PC flew to Berlin with the crew of Don 2 just a day before the Grammy was scheduled to take place. As soon as she wrapped up her work in Berlin, she caught the next flight to Los Angeles. A source in the know says, “She had been tight-lipped about attending the Grammies because she had a really busy schedule. She was extremely thrilled when her international agents informed PC that she had been invited for the event. PC is usually performing or hosting most of the award functions she attends back home. This time, however, she went just to meet a couple of people and, of course, be seen at the most prestigious music awards event in the world.”

PC too has been keeping her fans updated about her trip to LA. She posted, “Ok guys!! Grammy time! Just landed into LA.. options of gowns.. Indian designer or western..? Hmmm..I’m biased towards wearing Indian talent..” Though she wore a saree to the premiere of her film in Berlin, she chose to keep it stylish in a Gauri and Nainika gown for the event in LA. Whilst there, she reportedly missed the red carpet as her flight got delayed. While PC will be meeting international singers like Rihanna and Nicky Minaj among others, what is most interesting is that singer Jay Sean, who she has been linked to on numerous occasions, will also be present there.
