Priyanka Chopra-Ranbir Kapoor to bring in New Year together

Whether or not it’s a broken hearts club, Priyanka Chopra and Ranbir Kapoor have definitely found enough in common to decide they’d rather spend the New Year in each other’s company than fly back home to be with friends and family.

“Despite the fact that all of them had spent the earlier New Year holidays with their families, they willingly agreed on this schedule, though they were offered the option of taking holidays. This was very professional on their part. In fact, both Priyanka and Ranbir are looking forward to the shooting schedule,” says Sajid Nadiadwala, the producer of the film Anjana, Anjaani.

Apparently Sajid has obtained permission from the New York Police Department (NYPD) to block off certain streets to capture actual Christmas celebrations in the megapolis.

“Only one film that was allowed to shoot on New York streets during Christmas was When Harry Met Sally. Even they had a hard time convincing the NYPD to give them permission for the shoot. It will be a special Christmas for Ranbir and Priyanka. There’s an amazing chemistry between them which was evident even during the shooting schedule in Bangkok from where they have just returned,” the source says.

Immediately after the Christmas schedule in New York, the stars will fly to Las Vegas for another one. On New Year’s eve there is no shoot because it’s been left free for partying. A source adds that Sajid wants to make up for the missed family time by
allowing them to have a blast without bothering about anything.

“Sajid has always taken care of his actors and always picked up their tab, whether it’s a cup of coffee or a night at a casino. As usual, he’ll foot the bill for this party. Ranbir and Priyanka will be put up at the best hotels in Las Vegas and Sajid will ensure that they have nothing to complain about,” says a source. Does this augur new beginnings in the New Year?
