Priyanka Chopra denies being part of 'Dhoom' sequel

Actress Priyanka Chopra is very popular with her fans and has over one million followers on social newtworking site, Twitter. The actress and cricketer Sachin Tendulkar are among the few who have such a huge fan following.

Talking about how she manages to tweet and keep in touch with her fans, despite her hectic travelling schedules, she says, “I usually access Twitter and Facebook on my phone. So when I have some spare time, I check to see what the world is talking about and also share my thoughts. I enjoy the opportunity to interact with my fan base one-on-one.”

Coming back to films, Chopra has been shooting back-to-back for a couple of her upcoming projects and there have been rumours doing the rounds that she has been approached to star in the next franchise of Dhoom.

As much as she would like to be a part, she denies the story. “It is definitely a great franchise that gets better every time and it would certainly be something that I would like to be a part of.  I have, however, not been in any discussions regarding this film.”

The film that she is now most excited about is Farhan Akhtar’s Don 2, which she completed shooting for. Is she nervous? “No, Not at all!  I believe that we have a great film on hand.  Farhan and the entire team of Don 2 have created what I know will be a very entertaining film for the audience.”

Chopra reveals that  while shooting, she honed her video gaming skills. “I didn’t have a choice.  That’s basically all that the boys did in their spare time. You know how it is — boys and their toys! But thanks to them, I can safely say that I’ve become a keen, competitive gamer myself!”

Ask Chopra who was seen cheering for superstar Shah Rukh Khan on the cricket grounds if she intends to buy a team herself and she says, “I can’t claim to be a die-hard fan but I enjoy watching Team India matches and the T-20 series too. I have no plans as of now to purchase a cricket team. In any case, I can’t afford one right now but like I always say — never say never!”
