Pritam ill, again

Pritam Chakraborty, one of Bollywood’s most successful music composers seems to be going through a bad patch on the personal front. The musician has been hospitalised more than once this year. Earlier in the year, Pritam was rushed to the hospital due to a heart scare. He was again admitted for a thorough check-up. This time, the ace musician was down with a severe case of malaria. Luckily, his schedules have not suffered, since the illness coincided with the holiday that Pritam had planned since long.

“The break really broke me,” Pritam jokes when contacted. “I came down with malaria exactly during the time I intended to relax and had planned a big holiday with my wife and two children. I’ve been bed-ridden for the last one week. I’ve become so weak that I can’t even move without support. My wife is tired of trying to look after the three children in the house,” he says on a funny note.

Pritam is now trying to get back to work with the music of actor-
turned-producer Saif Ali Khan’s Agent Vinod. Sighs Pritam,

“Luckily, no work suffered as I had cleared all my commitments for the proposed holiday.”
