Prince sued for £467,000 over ‘unpaid legal fees’

Singer Prince has been sued by his former lawyers for allegedly not paying them £467,000 in legal fees.

Attorneys at Patterson Belknap Webb and Tyler filed a suit against the Purple Rain hitmaker at Manhattan's Supreme Court on Tuesday, reports the Daily Star.

They have accused the star, real name Prince Rogers Nelson, of failing to pay for their handling of cases in Ireland, California and New York.

Lawyers at the New York City firm also claim they were not compensated for representing Prince in his divorce from Manuela Testolini in 2006.
