Ozzy Osbourne wants to donate his body to science

Rocker Ozzy Osbourne has decided to donate his body to science.

The British singer feels that it's a 'medical miracle' that he is still alive even after boozing up for 40 years.

Osbourne spent more than 1 million pounds on doctors to keep him alive.

"I've often wondered the same thing myself. By all accounts I'm a medical miracle. When I die, I should donate my body to the Natural History Museum," the Daily Star quoted Osbourne as saying.

"It's all very well going on a bender for a couple of days but mine went on for 40 years. At one point I was knocking back four bottles of cognac a day, blacking out, coming to again and carrying on," he added.

The 61-year old singer admitted that he consumed 42 types of prescription drugs and chain-smoked cigars during the shooting of a reality TV show The Osbournes.

"I happen to be the world's worst hypochondriac. I will catch a disease off the telly. Being ill is like a hobby," Osbourne said.

"I've even started to diagnose my own diseases, thanks to Google," he added.
