Ozzy Osbourne scares visitors to Tussauds by posing as his own waxwork

Black Sabbath lead vocalist Ozzy Osbourne is said to have left visitors to Madame Tussauds terrified when he posed as his own waxwork.

Ozzy, 61, sat motionless on a couch waiting for fans to pose with him for a photo, and then just as they smiled for the camera, he would suddenly jump up and give them the fright of their life.

His wife Sharon is said to have joined him in the act, sitting still next to him before leaping up and shouting "Boo!" at passers-by.

"I have never been so scared in all my life," the Daily Star quoted one shocked visitor as saying.

"Ozzy was so hard-living during his rockstar days that there probably isn't much difference between his waxwork and the real thing. I was fooled," the visitor added.

But Ozzy and Sharon, 57, toned it down for the kids as they just whispered a quiet "hello" to one little girl.

The couple played the bizarre prank at the New York branch of the famous waxworks attraction to promote the singer's new album 'Scream', out next month.
