Cheryl Cole won't appear on any TV show for a year
London, Oct 2 (ANI):
Pop star Cheryl Cole has turned her back on television and won’t appear in a starring role for at least a year.
The 28-year-old singer is apparently trying to focus on her singing career and has denied US reports of a deal to join Britain’s Got Talent for the next three years.
According to reports, Cole will be seen on ITV’s Pride of Britain Awards on Wednesday but any suggestion of a permanent return to one of Simon Cowell’s shows, either in London or in America, has been ruled out.
“Cheryl has not had one single conversation about appearing on Britain’s Got Talent, nor has her management. Simon suggested it as a joke,” The Daily Express quoted her spokesperson as saying.
“Cheryl is focusing on her solo career. There has been not one single meeting about Britain’s Got Talent, not one,” he said.
When asked about the reality show judge’ television career in the coming months, he responded, “There are no plans for anything. Nothing next year either”.
