No Diwali for Bollywood stars

Even as people across the country are celebrating the festival of lights, many bollywood stars are spending this Diwali away from home due to professional commitments. Actors Shah Rukh Khan and Arjun Rampal will ring in Diwali festivities in London, after the premiere of their film Ra.One there.

Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor too are also in London shooting for Reema Kagti's untitled suspense thriller film.

Bipasha Basu and R Madhavan are in Greece for the shooting of their film, Jodi Breakers. The romantic comedy shot at various locations in Bombay, Goa and Greece is slated for February 2012 release.

"Due to work Missing Diwali back in my village this year too. Deepawalichya haardhik shubhechya (Happy Diwali) (sic)," actor Riteish Deshmukh wrote on twitter.

However, there are a few lucky actors, who will be at home celebrating the festival with family and friends.

There is a buzz that actor Imran Khan is throwing a party at his home, while Deepika Padukone, who has just moved into her new house at Prabhadevi in central Mumbai, is going to have a 'Puja'.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has taken time out from work to celebrate Diwali at home with his family.

Even actor Ajay Devgn and wife Kajol will celebrate Diwali at their Juhu Bungalow with family and close friends.

Actress Esha Deol, who will be seen on screen after a long gap in mother Hema Malini's home production Tell Me O Khuda which releases on October 28, had earlier said, "Diwali is a family time...we celebrate it with mom and dad (veteran actor Dharmendra)."
