Neil Nitin Mukesh's new buddy in Bollywood

While the same cannot be said about two actresses, it surely is easier for two actors to be friends on and off the sets. Actors Neil Nitin Mukesh and Abhishek Bachchan who met on the sets of Players in Russia have become thick friends through the film’s shoot. The film has in fact wrapped up the shooting and both have even moved on to their other projects but the two continue to be in touch even now. Though it was a small unit shooting in Russia and the team was a very friendly one, these two bonded mostly over gadgets, music and boy talk.

A source from the sets says, “Abhishek and Neil were constantly chatting up in between breaks. Abhi is known to play pranks on his co-stars and Bipasha Basu was constantly their target as he would team up with Neil. In fact Neil is so close to Abhi, that he treats him like a big brother.” Confirming this Neil says, “Abhishek is like an elder brother to me. I turn to him for any advice I need and I know he will be there for me always. He is a great guy and we talk a lot and have these discussions about a lot of things in general.” In fact recently when Abhi fractured his finger, Neil was concerned and wished him a speedy recovery.

They often exchange tweets over twitter besides talking about their lives.

But while Abhishek is close to Neil, very few people know that he’s very friendly with actor Ranbir Kapoor and they both have known each other for a long time.

A source close to him says, “Neil has known Ranbir for a long time. They both attended college together though Ranbir would conduct his own classes outside the college. Neil was a shy, studious kid who would sit for all the lectures. In fact Neil was mighty impressed with Ranbir for being so popular amongst women even back then.”
