Must-buy tracks for this party season

While some tracks are all time favourites and will rock the dance floor even 10 years from now, there are always the hot new favourites of the season. This year hasn’t been crackling with blockbuster Bollywood dance tracks but there are a few that the DJs will definitely have to belt out through the party season.

“Right now Paisa Paisa from De Dana Dan is hot, so it’s bound to be a big number this season. Dhan Te Nan from Kaminey was hot but in Bollywood songs lose their zing in a few months. So Paisa Paisa is the current favourite and it will be the toast of the season,” says HQ regular DJ Frazer.

Amongst the non-Bollywood tracks there are house, electronica, pop, hip hop and rock tracks competing to be on the dance floor. “The ones that work in a party season like Christmas and New Year are all commercial numbers; the stuff heard on TV. So amongst English music numbers Lady Gaga’s Poker Face and Black Eyed Peas’ I Got A Feeling are amongst the top ones,” informs Hard Rock Cafe and Shiro’s DJ Roanne.
