Mumbai is my home now: Claudia Ciesla

German model-turned-actor Claudia Ciesla is turning out to be an expert in Hindi. She also claims to have honed her culinary skills, especially with Indian food, something that she picked up during a reality show last year.

Claudia, who was introduced to Bollywood through a film Karma: Crime, Passion, Reincarnation also made news for being a friend of actor Salman Khan. Claudia has a few projects on her plate and is just back from yet another reality show Zor ka Zatka hosted by superstar Shah Rukh Khan.

Talking about the experience she says, “I was really happy when I learnt that Shah Rukh was hosting the show. Besides, I used to watch the international format so I excited to be a part of it,” she says adding, “This show isn’t like any of the mentally taxing ones I did before. This one is totally different.”

So how does she manage her work between Mumbai and Germany? “Oh, Mumbai is my home now and Germany is where I go for vacations! I am always connected with my friends online and they keep me updated. So even if I’m travelling I am well versed with the happenings in Mumbai.”

Not many know that the former Playboy model loves singing. “I love singing, it rejuvenates me. I released a couple of albums in the UK and Germany but now I want to concentrate on acting and TV,” she says. Quiz her about her upcoming projects and she says that she just finished working on a movie called Private numbers. “I have some offers in the pipeline too so lets see,” she says adding that given the popularity of item numbres, she is keen on doing one herself.
