Michael Jackson estate has confirmed that the singer was not married to anyone at the time of his death.
The lawyers representing the estate have filed legal papers in LA County Superior Court.
"Michael Joseph Jackson did not have a surviving spouse. He was not married at the time of his death," TMZ quoted the lawyers as stating.
However, two separate hearings are set for next week "spousal property".
Women claiming to be Jackson's widow are making the claim.
