Michael J Fox wants Charlie Sheen back on 'Two and a Half Men''

American actor Michael J. Fox wants Charlie Sheen to return to work on hit TV sitcom Two and a Half Men.

Sheen was axed from the sitcom last month after weeks of controversy, which included a public feud with the show's creator Chuck Lorre, hospitalisations, rehab and a number of headline-grabbing stunts.

Fox insisted that he has no plans to take over the troubled star's role in the series - and is praying Sheen overcomes his personal problems and is reinstated on the comedy.

"No (I won't be on the show)... my sincere hope is that Charlie goes back to work," the Daily Express quoted him as telling ETOnline.com.

"He's a tremendous talent and a great guy and I know that everybody has difficulties but I hope he gets back on track. I shouldn't say that, he may feel he is on track - I would just like to see him back on the show," he added.
