Mariah Carey tweets about contractions as she's rushed to hospital

Singer Mariah Carey took to her Twitter page as she was rushed to hospital to tweet that she is having contractions.

Carey, who celebrated her 41st birthday on March 27, wrote that her babies were ready to pop out even though there were still a few more weeks to go.

"They almost came on 3/27- happy anniversary in deed!!!" TMZ.com quoted her as tweeting.

"We have a few more weeks 2 go but- wow!!! : ) soreadyallready (sic)!" she stated.
