Madhur Bhandarkar invited to Cairo International Film Festival

The national award winning director has been invited by The Cairo International Film Festival to be a part of the International jury. They will be launching their 35th edition of the film festival starting from November 27.

This is not the first time Madhur Bhandarkar is going to be a part of the film festival. In 2010, a retrospective of Madhur’s films had been held that included Chandni Bar, Page 3, Corporate, Traffic Signal and Fashion.

An excited Madhur says, “I am delighted to be a part of the international jury. I love the theme  they have ‘Positive thinking revolution and freedom’. A lot of Hollywood biggies like Salma Hayek, Samuel L Jackson, Bruce Willis and Bill Murray have been associated with this prestigious film festival.
