Local tadka for Prakash Jha

Prakash Jha has always believed in using local talent wherever he shoots. He did it in Wai and now he’s doing it again in Bhopal, where he is shooting for Satyagraha with Amitabh Bachchan, Arjun Rampal, Kareena Kapoor and Ajay Devgn.

Says a source, “Prakashji has cast 1,500 locals in Satyagraha after two months of intensive workshop and given specific parts to them all. He conducted a workshop at an office in the heart of Bhopal, as the entire film is being shot there.” Jha confirms, “Yes, we held workshops for the locals for about two months. These acting workshops were necessary. I’m really happy with how they have been contributing to my film. It’s fantastic to see their energy and enthusiasm for the film.”
