LN Mittal throws bash for his granddaughter

Anil and Tina Ambani flew down to London for Shanaya Mittal's 'Neg' ceremony.

Her name is Shanaya Mittal and she's the first-born of Aditya and Megha Mittal, son and daughter-in-law, respectively, of the richest Indian in the world. And Lakshmi Niwas Mittal celebrated the arrival of his granddaughter at their neo-Palladian mansion at London's exclusive Kensinton Palace Gardens in typical style.

On the occassion, a special children's ballet with nursery rhymes was enacted by international performers. Though it was mostly a family affair, sources confirmed that Anil Ambani and his wife Tina were among those who flew down to London from Mumbai to bless the baby.

Keeping with Marwari tradition, 'neg' was performed on the baby and the mother and most of the family members dressed up in traditional attire, as did baby Shanaya. "She looked adorable in a little ghagra-choli and her grandfather just couldn't stop doting on her," a source added.
