Lisa Ray is holidaying in Goa

Post her stem cell transplant success, Lisa Ray certainly seems to have gotten a new lease of life. The model-turned-actor is currently in India. After a two-day stop at Mumbai where she met her close bunch of friends and business associates, Lisa has packed her bags and is holidaying in Goa. This is the first time she has taken a vacation since she was detected suffering from a rare form of cancer called multiple myeloma.

A source says, “Lisa is feeling very good post her transplant and she has decided to be with her close ones before she embarks on her endorsement campaigns and movies. After she was released from the Henderson Hospital in Canada, Lisa took time off just to be with herself. It’s been over a month now that she hasn’t posted anything on her blog and hasn’t even been tweeting. This was not because she was unwell but because she was meeting everyone who is important to her and spending quality time with them. Her family has always been by her side.”

Lisa had also decided to be off the media radar and not make any public appearances. The source adds, “But she has got a lot of work as she endorses many products. Soon, she will call a press conference in Mumbai. But before that, she decided to take a vacation. She will be in Goa for a week. Lisa says there’s a lot of peace in Goa. She wants to be alone but family and very close friends will join her. Post this she will be back in Mumbai. Lisa is certainly making a big brave comeback and she is very excited about it.”
