Lights, camera, no action!

Child star Dhairya Sonecha’s family was in a quandary when their housing society refused to allow a camera crew to shoot in their home on Saturday. Zee’s new show Ghar Ghar Mein — Fursat Ke Lamhe which features celebrity houses went to shoot the house of Dhairya in Kandivali and there was a huge fiasco. Police were called and the unit was forced to leave. Later, the shot continued in a rented apartment.

On Saturday morning, the team of Ghar Ghar Mein — Fursat Ke Lamhe went to the house of Dhairya along with host Vipul Roy around 9.30 am at Panchsheel apartments. When the unit was getting ready with the set up, Dhairya’s father Kalpesh came in huffing and told the unit that there was a huge problem. The housing society wasn’t allowing
the shoot.

Host Vipul Roy confirms, “I was stunned with the development and asked Kalpesh whether he owned the apartment. He did. And I didn’t know how to react to such a situation. We tried explaining to them that we are only shooting inside the house and not anywhere in the society compound, but all in vain.”

But the unit was in for another shocker when they left the apartment. “The chairman of the society was present there along with police. There was so much chaos and all for a TV shoot at someone’s house. This was totally unbelievable,” adds Vipul.

Since the shoot had to be done, the unit decided to move somewhere else. “From Kandivali West, we moved to a house in Goregaon East where we created a set for the show. We wasted five hours in the chaos and the shoot had to be finished in the daylight. Though the show is supposed to feature Dhairya’s own house, we had no option, but to shoot on a set,” he ends.
