Lara Dutta’s on an eating spree

Actress Lara Dutta may be bringing out fitness videos but that doesn’t mean that she is giving up greasy food. A little birdie tells us that Dutta has been gorging on litti-choka till when she was in New Delhi for a shoot recently.

“Lara Dutta and Vinay Pathak, who are currently shooting in Jaipur for Chalo Dilli have the thick fog to thank for discovering litti-choka, a Bihari delicacy served with yoghurt or baingan bharta or alu bharta. Director Shashant Shah wanted to capture the shot between Dutta and Pathak in natural light and was thus shooting the scene at a dhaba at night. Also, he wanted the scene to appear realistic and had kept the ambience as authentic as possible.”

But the fog suddenly thickened and Shashant was surprised when a thick layer gheraoed the surroundings. It was only later that he got to know that the layer was formed because the locals were using traditional methods to cook food.

“So, it was thanks to the thick fog that the two got to discover litti-choka. And there has not been a single day they have not eaten it since," said the source.
