Lara Dutta stomps off sets of 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs'

Lara Dutta was surely not prepared for this and perhaps didn’t take it kindly either. After waiting for an hour on the sets of a TV reality show for her shoot to begin, the enraged actor just walked off.

The incident occurred on the sets of Zee TV’s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs where Lara had gone to promote her forthcoming film. According to sources at Zee TV, her shoot was supposed to begin at 6 pm. However, it got delayed as another shoot with Sanjay Dutt and Ajay Devgan was on and that got delayed by over an hour.

“Two episodes were supposed to be shot on that day. Sanjay (Dutt) and Ajay (Devgan) were there to promote their film for one episode while Lara was there for the other episode. But Sanjay came in late. So the shoot started much later and we had no option but to ask Lara to wait in her vanity van,” says a source.

The source adds, “The schedule got a bit awry as everybody wanted to make up on the lost time. There was a point when people lost track on what was happening on the sets.”
Lara kept on enquiring about the delay. “Though she was courteous, she was restless and was repeatedly asking what was happening inside,” the source adds. But as the delay went past the one-hour mark, Lara asked her assistant to pack her bags. “She quietly left. The crew came running to cajole her and ask her to stay back, but she was firm and said that she has prior engagements,” the source ends.
