Lady Gaga’s still coming to India

She may not have been able to come to India following her Singapore tour, but Lady Gaga’s quite keen to make a personal visit here. The international pop singer confirmed to DNA, through her representatives, that she will be coming for a promotional tour no matter what.

“India is an important market for Gaga and a promotion tour has been planned in the coming months. It’s one of the countries she has been personally keen on visiting. It’s also one of the main reasons they have been working with Indian musicians on remixes of tracks from the new album,” says one of Gaga’s representatives. 

According to the representative, there’s no plan of a live performance in place yet as no concert with the star has been planned. But the star might make a high profile visit to the country without a concert in tow.

“…We haven't even started looking into the live performance element yet as an LG (Lady Gaga) is the biggest travelling show in the world right now and needs proper planning and production and is not just dependent on the fees,” adds the representative.

Sources say that Lady Gaga is so keen on visiting the country that she says that it doesn’t matter whether she performs in India or not, she wants to make a personal visit to Mumbai and also have a taste of Bollywood music herself.

Lady Gaga’s personal manager also reiterated the same sentiment when contacted. “We are not aware of any negotiations that have taken place with local promoters, but are looking forward to the promotional trip to India,” said Troy Carter, Lady Gaga’s manager.
