Lady Gaga's tripping on Bollywood

It is learned that international singing sensation Lady Gaga, who’s “tripping on India right now”, is gearing up for that one big India tour.

Representatives of Lady Gaga in New York confirmed that the singer has just had two more of her hit songs re-mixed with Bollywood beats. “Last month Lady Gaga released two Bollywood remixes of her hit single Born This Way. As Gaga gears up to debut her new album she is releasing two Bollywood-inspired remixes of Judas,” said a representative of Desi Hits, which is collaborating with the singer,  in a statement from New York.

“Gaga is such a massive star, so her music will naturally transcend language barriers...” says Anjula Acharia-Bath CEO, Desi Hits, who is working with Gaga’s camp on a strategy for the South Asian market. Lady Gaga’s official representatives confirmed the development. “We are thrilled with the overwhelming response to the Born This Way remixes, and decided to create a special version of Judas for our desi fans,” said Troy Carter, CEO-Atom Factory, Lady Gaga’s management company.

Musician duo, Salim-Sulaiman, entrusted with putting the Bollywood beats into the tracks yet again, is thrilled with the development. They are mixing one of the tracks, while the other one is being done by Punjabi MC.

“We wanted to create the same feeling, but with an Indian interpretation. The choice of bringing in sarangi and voice both from Rajasthan seemed perfect as they both complement Gaga’s drama,” said the duo.
