Kunal Khemu talks about 'Golmaal 3'

Actor Kunal Khemu who has been missing in action for quite some time is back in town.

Kunal was away in Goa shooting for Rohit Shetty’s next and now that the actor is back, he plans to catch up on all the lost time. “I was in Goa for the final schedule of Golmaal 3 and we had a blast there. Rohit always makes sure that his actors have a comfortable stay. It was great fun, we were all one big happy family, eating and shooting together.”

Kunal especially feels lucky to be working with actors Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor. “I had worked with Ajay when I was a kid in Zakhm. Sharing screen space with him after so many years made me nostalgic.”

Kunal is the only new actor to have joined the cast of the hit franchise and he was understandably very nervous.

“I was apprehensive for the first few days but after that everything has been smooth sail.”

Except for the accident on the sets of course. Quiz him about it and he says, “It was a freak accident. We were shooting a sequence on the beach with our jet skis. While we were shooting, my foot got entangled in the jet ski and I ended up severely injuring my foot. I was limping around for a few days with a torn ligament but thankfully it’s almost healed now.”

Though he does not want to talk anymore about his professional life, he smiles at the mention of his girlfriend Soha Ali Khan.

“Much has been said about us. I frankly don’t have anything new to say. It’s out in the open that Soha and I are seeing each other. When we did a film we weren’t seeing each other but people paired us up even then. Now that we are dating, everyone wants us to either get married or split up” he ends.
