Katrina Kaif makes an exception

Rumours may abound about actor Katrina Kaif’s personal life, but she’s known to try to keep her real life away from her reel one.

In fact, the actress rarely even lets her family accompany her on to movie sets when they come to visit her in India. But it seems like Katrina may be making an exception for her upcoming film with superstar Shah Rukh Khan.

The actor has apparently invited her family and friends in London to drop by on the sets, when she starts shooting there for the Yash Chopra film. SRK and Kat, who are being paired opposite each other for the first time in the film to be directed by Chopra himself, are expected to start shooting in London soon. Sources close to the actor reveal that she is not only excited about shooting in London, which is where her family is based, but she’s also excited about being directed by Chopra, who’s a household name among the Indians settled there.

“Ever since Katrina’s family and friends in London learnt that Yash Chopra will be directing her and the shoot will happen there, they had been requesting her to invite them on sets so they could meet the filmmaker. And for once, Katrina’s planning to make an exception to her rule by calling them over,” says the source.

Katrina had earlier said, “It’s not like I try to keep family away from my sets, they do drop by once in a while if they are visiting me, but when I’m working, I like to keep my family life away.” However, this time around, she hasn’t been able to curb the excitement of her known ones in London. Meanwhile, the actor is also keeping a tight watch on her diet and has promised herself not to get carried away with all the pampering when she visits home. Katrina, who’s also prepping up for her role in Dhoom 3 will be seen sporting her hot-bod in tank tops and shorts and is taking no chances with her diet at all. “The role requires her to flaunt a really well-toned body. Though Katrina’s already in great shape, she’s working out regularly to get super-fit,” revealed an insider.
