Kate Middleton's tummy touch has Brits in frenzy

Touching the tummy time and again and a refusal to eat peanut butter (often avoided by pregnant women) during a charity trip to Denmark have triggered off strong buzz in the Brit press of the Duchess of Cambridge being preggers. The Brits are in a tizzy at the possibility of a royal baby on the way, especially with Prince William apparently being keen about having a baby girl.

Adding fuel to the speculation is the monarchy’s refusal to comment on the rumour. They have apparently released an official statement stating that “we do not comment on speculation.” It was apparently a given that the number one priority for WillKat as a royal couple was to have children, a source from the royal palace is reported to have said. Kate apparently is six weeks pregnant and the couple is reportedly busy preparing three nurseries — one in the couple’s current London residence, Nottingham Cottage, another in their home in Wales and a third at Kensington Palace. They are even looking up names for the baby, specifically focusing on traditional names. “They want something traditional, Edward, Philip and Michael are likely choices for a boy, or Alice or Rose for a girl,” a source is quoted as saying.

Rumours of Kate expecting twins was instantly shot down outright by the royalty. “Suffice to say that were it true, it would be us that announces it, not a gossip magazine,” a representative for the couple told an international fanzine. However their refusal to comment on the Duchess being pregnant, apparently, leaves the question open, at least till the time of going to the press, yesterday.
