Kareena moves even closer to Saif!

Kareena Kapoor has moved house. Bebo has just moved from her erstwhile apartment in Bandra to her brand new pad at Rose Queen Building on 15th Road in Khar even though the interior work on one part of the apartment is still on.

This is incidentally just two lanes away from Saif’s apartment. But what DNA has also learnt is that living right next door to the new ‘love nest’ will be none other than mom Babita Kapoor!

“Kareena has bought the entire sixth floor of the building. The floor is actually one huge penthouse but if you close the door in the middle, it becomes two separate flats. The bigger side of the apartment is Bebo’s and the other is Babita’s. Though she has already shifted, some patchwork still remains on Bebo’s side and it is being done as we speak,” revealed a close friend to the star, adding that the entrance to Babita’s side of the apartment is actually through the kitchen.

When we contacted Kareena with this piece of news, she confirmed that she has moved her base. “Yes, I have recently moved house and shifted into my pad in Khar. The interiors have been done up beautifully by Tina (Twinkle Khanna). I completely rely on her sense of aesthetics and trusted her totally on how to do it up. I am really happy with the way my apartment has shaped up,” says Kareena.

Though Kareena refused to go into how much she has splurged on the interiors, her friend revealed that she had a budget of Rs3 crore for Twinkle. “All the stuff that is there in the apartment is imported and the best that is available in the market. For example the chandeliers in the living room have been imported from Paris,” the friend reveals.

A corner to watch out for is Kareena’s kitchenette, which is Twinkle’s brainchild and ideal to host parties. “She has a very beautiful kitchenette on her side of the floor which has been completely designed by Twinkle. There is a separate lounge for parties and a sitting room apart from the living room and bedrooms,” the friend adds.
