Kareena Kapoor gets expensive

Actress Kareena Kapoor who has always been amongst the top players for brand endorsements has just taken a lead after reportedly bagging a paycheck of a whopping Rs4 crore to endorse a health brand. Sources reveal that the actress is currently in Dubai for a two-day shooting schedule for a cornflakes brand that has recently signed her on.

“Kareena was zeroed in for the brand after being considered for her penchant for fitness as well as her market viability. She is at present in Dubai, and they are shooting for an ad for the cornflakes brand at the biggest theme park there.

In fact, a part of the theme park has been completely shut down for this shoot. She is being paid close to Rs4 crore for the endorsement,” informs an insider.

Incidentally, sister Karisma Kapoor too endorses a cornflakes brand. Trade buzz reveals that after the success of her latest release Talaash, the new deal certainly raises her stock higher and cements her position further.

“Kareena was already said to be one of the highest-paid actresses and now with this she seems to have conquered the brand markets too, becoming a formidable name when it comes to brands,” say market observers.

“She has proven to be a bankable name when it comes to both films and brand endorsements. Also, she is known to be extremely professional in her work commitments which work in her favour. With this she will certainly be ending  the year on a good note,” add industrywallahs.
