Kangna Ranaut’s floored Milan Luthria

Actor Kangna Ranaut has impressed filmmaker Milan Luthria so much that he is already looking to cast her in his forthcoming movie. Milan, who is basking in the success of the Ekta Kapoor production based on Mumbai’s underbelly in the ’70s, says, “She is fantastic in the movie and a complete director’s actor. I’m looking to work with her again. The way she understands the role before she lets herself go in front of the camera is commendable.”

A source close to the development reveals, “Milan’s next will again be a gritty movie on love and betrayal. Kangna will be totally chic and it is a role that will test her acting prowess again. Knowing Kangna, she will come out with flying colours.”

Milan adds, “Though I have plans to cast Kangna in my next film, it is too premature to talk about it.”

The director also praises his other female lead Prachi Desai. “Even Prachi was an asset to the team and she has done a fabulous job. She was a natural on screen and very spontaneous. I wish we will get to work again,” says Milan. Sources say that Milan has been offered a movie assignment from Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Productions again as Ekta is very happy with the hit that he has delivered with the Ajay Devgn and Emraan Hashmi starrer. Milan has also been approached by Ajay and Emraan to make movies for them.

“I think right now I’m in a good space. I really needed to be here. I am now in a position to choose and do the kind of movies that I’m interested in doing. I have somehow made movies that have had Mumbai in its backdrop (Taxi No. 9211). It’s purely coincidental. I love action adventure and I have always been fascinated about doing such movies. I don’t know what I will do next though. Right now, it’s time to party,” Milan ends.
