Kangna Ranaut looking forward to vacation

Actress Kangna Ranaut is a self-confessed workaholic, but for once, even she can’t wait for a break and get home. The actress, who’s been shooting for one film after another, is hoping to wrap up two of her films — Double Dhamaal and Rascals — before she leaves for her hometown in Himachal for her sister Rangoli’s wedding in mid-May.

Though Ranaut hopes it turns into an extended break of sorts, she might not be able to take more than a week off, as she has to return for the schedule of Happy New Year with actor Sunny Deol.

“Yes, I’m looking forward to taking a break and attend Rangoli’s wedding. I haven’t been home in such a long time, so it’s something that I’m really looking forward to,” shares Ranaut.

Admitting that it’s been really “crazy juggling so much at one time” she says, “I’ve been trying to fit in so much together, between shopping and shooting that it’s absolute madness! But it’s a fun kind of madness, because both the things are something I totally love to do.”

The actress says that her sister’s wedding is a day that she’s really looking forward to because it means so much to her. “I am really happy for her — she seems to have found her perfect partner. I only pray for the best for both of them.” She is, however, tight-lipped about what her gift to the couple will be. “I have thought of a few options for them, but let it be a surpise na,” she smiles.

The actress had also recently visited the Ajmer Sharif dargah to seek blessings for her sister. So, did she ask something for herself as well? “No, I think I have only to thank God for whatever he’s given to me — from my dreams to the courage to fulfil them. When I’ve got so much without asking for it, then I’m not going to turn greedy, by asking for more,” she says.

Another thing that Ranaut’s looking forward to, on her return home is the ghar ka khaana. “I don’t think there’s anyone who’s been away from home for so long and won’t miss it. Yes, I’ll have to watch my weight for sure, but it’s such a huge celebration, that for once I don’t mind indulging my tastebuds,” she laughs.
