Justin Timberlake keen to star in musical

Justin Timberlake has been a successful singer and actor but now he wants to combine the two worlds and do a musical.

But the reason why he hasn’t taken up the challenge yet is that he wants a more modern take on the classic genre.

“That’s been discussed... I would love to do a musical one day. I think there might be a way to redefine what that is for this era...,” the Daily Star quoted him as telling US TV show host David Letterman.

“My problem with musicals today, and I think a lot of people in my generation probably feel this way too, is that we’re sitting here having a conversation and all of the sudden we’re singing,” he added.
