John Abraham is a ladies man

John Abraham may be one of the hunky actors in Bollywood, what with dimpled cheeks, toned abs and butt to match, but the actor finds it hard to believe that he is a woman magnet! In fact there are times when he wonders if all the praise is actually for him or that people are mistaking him for someone else.

A source close to John reveals that whenever girls swoon around John, he is stumped and is often trying to figure out what they like about him. “John is very critical of himself. He works hard on his body but that’s because he believes in staying fit. If someone were to compliment him on how well he has maintained his body, he will be happy. But if you tell him that he’s sexy or good looking… he doesn’t know how to react!” says the source.

Ask John about this and he admits that he is yet to come to terms with the ‘hunk’ tag that seems to follow him everywhere. “When people tell me I’m good-looking, my immediate reaction is to wonder if they mean it.” So what exactly does he do when he is paid a compliment? “Well, I just smile.” But it’s not like the actor wants the praise to disappear, he’s become quite used to it now. “At times it becomes uncomfortable, but I do appreciate the compliment,” he says flashing those dimples.

John was recently voted as one of the sexiest actors in the country. In fact, he had topped the poll but John still refuses to let it go to his head. “He definitely has a way with the ladies. He knows how to impress them with his chivalry — a quality that seems redundant in today’s times. I guess that is what women like the most about him. He will always open the car’s door for a lady before getting in himself and believes in treating a woman with respect, even if it’s just a passing conversation. You can’t mess with any girl when John is around. So his protective streak is another quality that earns him brownie points with women,” explains the source.

With so many to-die-for qualities about John, it’s a tad bit difficult to digest the single status he’s flaunting of late, isn’t it? Out with your mystery girlfriend, Johnny boy!
