Singer-songwriter, rapper, beat boxer and record producer Jay Sean is coming to India next month for a four city tour. News is that Sean will be doing his first gig in Mumbai (August 18), Pune (August 19), Delhi (August 20) and in Bangalore (August 21).
Sean, who traces his roots back to India, is expected to spend a couple of days in Mumbai. And going by his strong association with B Town and its babes, we understand that he might want to catch up with his close buddies in Bollywood including actress Bipasha Basu (who featured in his music video Stolen) and actress Priyanka Chopra — who was probably the first Bollywood actor to pour out her admiration for Sean on microblogging site Twitter. “A huge shout out to my boy @jaysean! Check out the new 2012 album out today! Kill it jay,” she had tweeted.
Sean, who does hide his fascination for Bollywood, had once mentioned that he’d love to work with PC. “I wanna work with her…for some song, or a film,” he had said.
Sean last toured the country in 2009. The event, organized by Bacardi, is a result of the study of the Facebook group where Sean emerged as the fans’ most loved artist.
