Is Sakshi Dhoni pregnant?

The stork’s apparently come visiting. This time, it’s turned its sights on the cricketing world. Grapevine has it that the Indian cricket team’s skipper, Mahendra Singh Dhoni is apparently going to be a father soon!

Dhoni’s wedding to Sakshi, almost two years ago, was profiled widely across the world. They got married in a closely-guarded ceremony in Dehradun, which was attended by buddy, actor John Abraham and his then girlfriend, actor Bipasha Basu. And of late, the whispers of Sakshi apparently being pregnant are only growing stronger by the day.

Says a source, “Dhoni is a very private person. He doesn’t like to talk about his personal life. We got to see a glimpse of it when he kept his marriage date under wraps for a long time. The announcement just caught people unawares. It seems we are going to see a repeat of it with the baby news.  The couple hasn’t made any formal announcement, but it does seem like the Dhoni household has got a visit from the stork.”

The rumours apparently started when recent pictures of Sakshi at events, showed that she has put on considerable amount of weight, sparking off speculations about her pregnancy. “Yes, it looks like she has gained some weight, which has also triggered off rumours of her being preggers,” adds the source.

Should the speculations prove to be true, then it will be the couple’s first child. After the recent disappointment of an early exit of the Indian cricket team from Asia Cup in Bangladesh, Dhoni finally has some good news to look forward to.
