Is Cameron Diaz following Sushmita Sen?

It seems Hollywood actor Cameron Diaz is walking on the lines of Bollywood actor Sushmita Sen. Cameron plans to adopt a few children. Now, sources say, she is likely to come to India in a couple of months to visit some of the orphanages in the country, including the ones in Mumbai. It would be a seven-day hush-hush trip as the actor does not want to be spotted and surrounded by cameras during her work.

Cameron has been quoted as saying, “I never say never (to having children). I could end up adopting half a dozen kids. But I don’t worry about what others want for me, I focus on what I want for myself.”

This comment has got the grapevine buzzing with information about her adoption plans and trip to the subcontinent.

A source says, “Like Sushmita Sen and Hollywood actor Angelina  Jolie, even Cameron wants to travel across the globe to adopt kids. India is very much on her scheme of things and she has been moved by stories of child trafficking and the country’s fight against child labour. Even if she does not end up adopting an Indian child, she will look to do her bit for philanthropy towards the needy children of India.”

The source adds, “Cameron loves everything about India, from cuisine to clothes, from the country’s rich cultural heritage to the warmth of the people. She has been doing her background check before packing her bags to visit the country. Mumbai is definitely on her travel plans.”

She is likely to visit Delhi too during her trip. “The history that Delhi has is certainly a big draw for Cameron. She will travel all by herself and an entourage of bodyguards. So, mostly she might do a hurricane tour of the important tourist locations of the city in a car due to security issues. It is a quiet visit that she is looking forward to and she wants to avoid any kind of spotlight,” ends the source.
