Is Amy Jackson the new Katrina Kaif?

There is something in common between actresses Katrina Kaif and Amy Jackson besides both hailing from the United Kingdom. Katrina, who has been one of the top names in Bollywood from the past couple of years was honoured when a leading doll company decided to launch a series of dolls inspired by her.

Amy, who made her debut in B-town this year is already joining Katrina as the same company has apparently approached her to design a line inspired by her.

A source close to Amy reveals a few details, “Amy has been a big name in the UK for the past couple of years. She was modelling before Bollywood happened to her. She has always wanted to act and it was a stroke of luck that she got a break in Bollywood. The company approached her recently, after they saw some pictures of her and thought that she fit the bill. Katrina was a very well known name when the company approached her but expressing interest in Amy was a surprise to us. She is a tall, petite girl with delicate features and they thought she was the right fit for a doll to be designed on her.”

Amy too was super-thrilled with the offer and was more than happy to be a part of this new initiative. The brand reveals that there will be a US special edition of dolls and an Indian edition as well.

The actress, who is currently in the US to judge a teen beauty pageant competition will later head to meet the officials of the company where the nitty-gritty’s are being worked out. The US edition of the dolls will be out in the market by August, after which the Indian edition of the dolls will be unveiled.
