I’m married to loneliness, says Lady Gaga

Pop star Lady Gaga, who has an on-off relationship with barman Luc Carl, has revealed that she will always be lonely, but is married to her loneliness.

The ‘Born This Way’ singer also admitted that her work is her life, and believes that “wallowing in solitude” makes her an artist.

“Yes, but I am supposed to be, I am an artist,” The Mirror quoted Gaga as telling Asia’s Star TV when asked if touring made her lonely.

“We wallow in loneliness and solitude our whole lives in search of the answer to hundreds and millions of questions that run through my mind. Yes I’m lonely, but I’m married to my loneliness,” she added.

The 25-year-old New Yorker also admitted that she would choose to work over love.

“I would choose my work. I would die without it and I could never be reborn,” she added.
