I’d love to open a bikini store someday: Shveta Salve

Just because she hopped on to the reality TV bandwagon, television actress Shveta Salve says that she will not be giving up her dreams of launching her own bikini line. The actress says that she still nurtures a dream of opening a bikini store someday in Mumbai.

“I had set up a small (make-shift) store in Goa and it did wonderful business. I am very happy with the way people received it. Yes, I want to open my store someday in Mumbai and Goa. I will be launching my line of bikinis in a big way but I guess that will take some more time,” says Salve, who herself modelled in a sizzling bikini for a magazine cover last year.

She was recently seen grooving to an item number in Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji, and Shveta says that she did it only for her pal, film-maker Madhur Bhandarkar. “It was not like any other item number and it was not cheaply shot. I quite liked the way I looked in the film and more so, I did it because of Madhur (Bhandarkar),” she adds.

Talking about her hosting a reality show, Dance India Dance on Zee TV, Salve says that she is enjoying her stint. “It’s quite interesting and I also did an act for the show (a dance number). I think everybody liked it and we were rocking!” she exclaims.
Ask her about her future plans and she quips, “I never know what I am going to do next, but I would never like to say never.”
