I will marry Gaurav soon: Mouni Roy

Mouni Roy is ‘not in a relationship just for the sake of it’. Instead, she is very serious about boyfriend Gaurav Chopra and intends to marry him soon.

“We are in a very steady relationship. I will marry him soon. But I’m too young to get married right now. So our relationship will take its own course. I am appearing with him at public events and we are also participating in reality shows — all this shows that we want to have a life together,” Mouni said, rubbishing recent rumours of a rift with Gaurav.

Mouni has been in the television industry for three years. However, she doesn’t have a single TV show in her kitty right now. Industry insiders have started saying that her career is on the downslide.

Reacting to this, Mouni said, “So far I have done fairly well for myself. But I did commit a few mistakes by not taking up some good shows. People can say what they want to, but I know things will fall in place as I have age on my side.”

Recently, Mouni was replaced by Roshni Chopra as the host of Comedy Circus raising questions about her ability as an emcee. So wasn’t she good enough to handle the impromptu actions on the sets? Mouni said, “I can be a good emcee but I would be best if I have teleprompters. But I think Roshni is a far better emcee than me.”

She added, “When it comes to dancing I will be the best. I won’t give anyone a chance to complain.”
