I will eventually settle down: Sajid Khan

From being the ‘cute’ brother of Farah Khan, a television talk show host, an actor to finally a successful filmmaker – Sajid Khan has come a long way in the past 15 years. But never before had Sajid Khan been in news for the girl that he is dating. However, with him reportedly dating actor Jaqueline Fernandes, the whole equation has changed.

Tell Sajid about this and he says that he will be the last man on earth to flaunt his girl on his arms. “I have always been somebody who has stayed away from talking about my personal life. I don’t drink and I don’t go to parties. I also think that it is a cheap tactic to talk about your personal life especially when your film is almost ready. I am not going to talk about my personal life…no matter what. What I am doing with my life is nobody’s business,” says Sajid.

But since it is the season of India’s Eligible Bachelors, isn’t he old enough now (he will turn 40 coming November) to get married? Sajid mellows down this time. “Yes, I am going to settle down. That is surely on the cards. It is going to eventually happen,” he adds. But ask him when and he says that he is going to settle down before others (he starts taking names jokingly).  He admits that he’s become reclusive these days and avoids socialising at all costs.

Talking about publicity stunts, Sajid says this time, Jaqueline won’t be doing any item number in his forthcoming Housefull 2 (last time she got to groove to 'Dhanno' number) since she is the full fledged heroine of the film. “She will of course have songs (like other leading ladies) but she won’t be doing an item number this time,” says Sajid.

Also, with most of the starcast of the earlier film replaced, Sajid informs that this film won’t be a sequel. “Only the franchise name will be there but this is a new film with a new story and new characters. There won’t be any thread of connection between the two films except for the character of Aakhri Pasta (Chunky Pandey),” he ends.
