I have been honest in my work, says Sheena Nayyar

Her confidence is palpable. First time Bollywood actress Sheena Nayyar says, “I have been honest in my work and focused towards my goal all throughout.”

Sheena admits that making a foray into Bollywood was not simple because of her “non filmy background”. “Though everything looks good this hour, it was too stressful an exercise when I started,” adds Sheena who was recently seen in a horror flick.

Hailing from Delhi, this 24-year-old cannot stop thanking her stars for this big break that came her way in the form of a horror film.

“Bagging the central character in my first movie is a big achievement,” she says. Sheena, who had been dabbling with theatre all this while, has already bid adieu to the stage. Evidently, Bollywood has caught the attention and time of this hottie.

Ask about her success mantra and she replies, after a long pause, “I am a very religious person. I go to Siddhivinayak every Tuesday to bow my head in the service of God. It helps reinforce my inner strength and abilities.” Also, she is an avid lover of books and reads a lot in her leisure time.

Talking about her experience working in the film, she says, “My director praised me after each shot saying I didn’t seem like a newbie.”

Sheena has a lot on her platter to choose from, which also includes several south Indian movies. “I might consider them, I love south India,” says this playful Punjabi girl.
