I fell in love with Salman Khan: Australian actress

On her first trip to Rishikesh, she found India to be a land of vibrant colours and on her second trip she fell in love with our very own Bodyguard Salman Khan.

Australian beauty Liana Werner Gray, who is starring in Vadodara-based director Mitesh Kumar Patel's Hollywood film The Man in the Maze, says she was charmed by Salman when she saw the poster of his latest release Bodyguard during her trip to Ahmedabad.

“He is so good looking. I am hoping that someday I will get a chance to work with Salman,” she says. Gray was in the city on Thursday to promote her Hollywood flick.

So we are guessing that she might also have heard the buzz about Katrina Kaif's on and off relationship with Salman. “I would also like to work with Katrina, she looks outstanding,” is her comment.

Gray was voted Miss Earth Australia 2009. She was 16 years old when she moved to Brisbane to pursue a career in acting. She shuttled between Australia and USA to work for films, theatre and television.

“Frankly it is more challenging to work in US but I am gradually learning. My homeland is more relaxed and laid back and not many films are made out there. It is very common for Australian actors to move to Hollywood,” she says.

Talking about modelling and acting as career options, Gray says, “To be honest modelling comes really easy to me but acting is more challenging and that is the reason I enjoy it more. There is a continuous shift from one feeling to another and you get to play with a lot of mediums,” says the model-turned-actor who admires Hollywood actor Kate Winslet.

Having worked with an Indian director in Hollywood does she plan to act in Bollywood? “I would love to do an action film with a love story and lot of singing and dancing. Sadly none of the other film industries have it,” says the actress who has only seen one Indian film De Dana Dan till date.

Besides acting she likes surfing and misses that the most about home. “I left my surfboard at home and now I get to visit Australia just once a year," she says.
