‘I am happy to be out’
Ketaki Dave is delighted about getting evicted from Bigg Boss' jail.

She was the official cook of the Bigg Boss house. But, after the eviction, she just wants to rush home and have ghar ka chai. Ketki Dave, more famous for her year-old stint as Daksha Ben in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi is the fourth evictee after Monica Bedi.

Unlike Rakhi Vijan, she is very happy that she is out of the house.

“I am so happy that I cannot express it in words. I was missing my family members’ big time and I just want to go home and hug them to feel the warmth that was not there inside. I was really excited when I was nominated this time. Before my entry, I told my family that I am not going to survive long and that has just come true,” she says.

When quizzed whether she has made any friends among the inmates, she says, “I don’t think I have made any friends. Most of the people are not behaving the way they actually are in their real life. Everyone is creating their kind of image, the rat race of winning the competition. So, I don’t think I met somebody there who could qualify as a friend,” she adds.

Any enemies? “Well, hate is a very strong emotion to identify with and I really didn’t make any foes in the house.”

What about Monica Bedi with whom she didn’t get along well?

“Why should I hate her? I didn’t mingle with her that much and she always spent all her time with Rakhi or Rahul,” she says.

She was on the receiving end from Raja Chaudhary for her bad cooking skills. What’s her take on that?

“Yes, he did not like the food prepared by me. I think he likes north Indian style of cooking; so he ended up alleging that I took control of the kitchen. I was assigned the work and I knew cooking; so I did it. But, I was in good terms with Debojit, Ehsaan and a few others who like the food I prepared,” she says.

From the entry to the eviction, how much she has changed as a person?

“I guess, I have realised that I can keep my calm. Whenever, anything that was putting me off, I never lost it, I just kept mum. The stay actually has actually opened a new door of revelation to me,” she says.

On the work front, Ketki is busy with her Gujrati play and would love to consider a few shows.

“I am very busy with theatre as always. At the same time, I have to consider the offers that are coming on my way. Let’s see, I have become optimistic in life,” she ends.
