In the blink of an eye they switch roles from endorsing sexy corporate outfits and seducing the opposite sex in music videos to burning the ramp in designer clothes. Their profession demands toned bodies, waxed chests and perfect skin. We’re just interested in their drool factor as the three most promising faces of the Indian male modelling industry bare their err... souls.

Hrishant Goswami:

Claim to fame: You’ll succumb to his charms in the ‘Mrs Marino’ ad. This Gladrags winner, also seen in a few music videos, dreams of making it big in Bollywood.

Flirt factor: “The profession gives you access to attractive people but it might take a toll on your personal life. If you are in a relationship you need a lot of understanding.”

Fighting fit: Not only does he avoid high calorie foods and works out six days a week, he also controls his alcohol intake.

Ramp files: “People’s perception about models being dumb is because you aren’t allowed to talk too much and if you do it’s considered as ‘throwing attitude’.” While he loves wearing clothes by Narendra Kumar, Rohit Bal and Rocky S, his main goal is to get into Bollywood.

Niketan Madhok

Claim to fame: The ‘Bheegi Bheegi’ music video with Anupama Verma. “It’s a job that doesn’t give you an opportunity to show your intelligence. But you have to be really smart to stick around,” he says.

Flirt factor: He says he’s pretty used to all the attention from women. “It’s easy to maintain a relationship if you find the right partner.”

Fighting fit: Diet and exercise. “I have a sweet tooth, but I try and avoid fried food.”

Ramp files: Every big fashion show  you can think of — he’s been around for three years, so he could be considered as quite the pro.

Sahil Shroff

Claim to fame: Instant Karma’s ‘Dance Masti’ music video and the Sony Ericsson ad where’s he’s entertained in a subway train by a Rajasthani duo.

Flirt factor: “I meet a lot of interesting people,” he says, adding that although it’s an insecure profession, you can still maintain a stable personal life. “I’m single right now, but even when I wasn’t, I would flirt with women in a friendly way but keep my distance,” he laughs.

Fighting fit: It’s difficult to believe him when he says he’s a big foodie. “I run 25 kms every week. I’m also into soccer and do cardio and weights,” he says.

Ramp files: He has walked the ramp for most of the Indian designers. Favourite designers include Arjun Khanna, Rohit Bal, Rocky S, Krishna Mehta and more. “I’m unsure about Bollywood as my future but I definitely want to break into the international scenario,” he says.
