Helena Bonham Carter attracted to evil and weird women characters

Actress Helena Bonham Carter who had started her career in innocent roles has revealed that she found herself drawn to playing evil and weird women.

"I love dressing up and playing weird women. It would be boring for me to try to look as beautiful as possible on screen," the Daily Express quoted the actress as saying.

"In my view women like that are ill, and for some reason I’m attracted to that. It makes me wonder what made them turn evil.

"As an actress it’s my job to understand women like that and to not be judgmental. Something about this madness attracts me," she added.

Bonham had most recently portrayed unstable women in films such as Alice In Wonderland, Sweeney Todd and the Harry Potter franchise.
