Actress Dame Helen Mirren says she is confident that Colin Firth will win the Best Actor Oscar for his role in The King's Speech.
But the 65-year-old actress — who won the Best Actress Oscar for her role in 2006's The Queen — explained she doesn't think the Academy Award will change his life.
"I would rate his chances 100% for winning an Oscar. I think his performance is spectacular and I'm proud to be a British actor alongside him," Contactmusic website quoted her as telling BANG Showbiz.
"Life doesn't really change after you win an Oscar. Colin is already a world famous actor and respected actor so I don't think it will change that too much. But it is an amazing time in your career and what Colin is going through, there's nothing like it," she said.
