Happy for Bebo, says Karisma Kapoor

Actor Karisma Kapoor, who will be back on the big screen after a break, is looking forward to it. Though the actor was away from films, she is proud about younger sister, actor Kareena Kapoor being one of the top actors in B-Town today. Talking about Bebo’s growth in the film industry, Karisma says she is extremely happy to see the way Kareena has worked her way up.

“It feels great to see Bebo doing so well for herself. I am very proud of her. She deserves all the accolades and appreciation coming her way because she has worked really hard.  She is extremely dedicated and passionate about films and that has really helped her scale heights. It gives me immense joy to see my younger sister’s films do so well,” she says. Despite her break from films, Lolo would always be there for Kareena. “We are like any other sisters in the world. We talk about everything to each other. We give and take advice as well. We share a very normal sister relationship,” says Karisma.

The actor, who took a break after the birth of her children, says nothing in the world can take priority over her kids. “I look back with a lot of fondness and with great memories. As an actor, you are growing everyday and that is the beauty of this profession. After I had my kids, I was very clear what my priorities were and I wanted to be there for my kids. Offers would pour in but I was very sure that I did not want to take up anything. I was happy playing mommy to my li’l ones,” Lolo explains.

Since she has been around for a while, we ask her how she would rate herself as an actor. “Honestly, I can’t judge myself. I just can’t give myself points for acting because it is the most difficult thing to do. I leave it to the audience to judge. I am back purely for my love for acting.”
