American actress Halle Berry's representative has dismissed rumours that she helped her 'boyfriend' Olivier Martinez get a role in her new movie Dark Tide.
The Monster's Ball actress insisted that the French star was chosen because he is the best actor for the role.
"Olivier was cast because he was the best actor for the role and both Halle and the director agreed. Any speculation beyond that reason is completely false," the Daily Star quoted Berry's spokesperson as telling the New York Post.
The Berry-Martinez romance rumours gained momentum when they were shooting in South Africa.
