In a new high for the Gujarati film industry, Saroj Khan, well-known choreographer of Bollywood, has choreographed an item song for upcoming Gujarati movie, Hun Premi No.1.

The mega budget movie, which is being released on Friday, has crossed several landmarks in a bid to take the Gujarati movie industry to the levels of Bollywood.

The movie is unique in Gujarati film history as Kumar Sanu and Sunidhi Chauhan, Bollywood singers, have given their voices for the first time in a Gujarati film. The film is also being released in 50 multiplex theatres to cater to the urban crowd across the state.
The item song, ‘Vhala tame, dear tame..Maru liver tame, maru fever tame...’ has been picturised upon Tanvi Sinha, Miss Uttar Pradesh, who was brought in specially for the song.

“We invited Saroj Khan to choreograph the item song and she worked on it for more than 15 days,” said Rajiv Kotiya, executive producer of the movie. “For the first time in the Gujarati movie world, Saroj Khan has choreographed a song,” he said.  Kotia claimed, "The movie has been made with a budge of Rs1.75 crore and Rs65 lakh was spent on the item song." The budget is an all- time high for Gujarati movies, whose budgets are usually around 50 lakhs.

“This is my first experience of working with a Gujarati movie song and I like it very much,” said  Khan. How did she create dance steps for Gujarati lyrics? The ace dance director said, “I understand Gujarati and I worked for three days on the song. I will attend the premiere of the movie, if possible.”

Not only that, four foreign dancers were also among the dance troupe. Hun Premi No.1 is a romantic film and gives the message to society that one should not forget to love their parents,” said Sunil Vaghela, one of the leading actors of the film. Director Rafique Sheikh has tried to give a modern touch by using designer outfits for the actors. The shooting of the movie was done at Vadnagar, Tithal and Tirupati resort in Gujarat.
